To implement policy of CC „KMZ“ the Directors defined main effective purposes to upgrade quality and competitiveness of the products, reduce production expenses and provide unity of tasks and activities of all employees.

1. Certification purposes:
   • to recertify Quality Management System for conformity with requirements of international standard ISO 9001:2000 by certification bodies TUV NORD and „UkrNIIMet-SEPRO“;
   • to confirm conformity of certified manufactures:
   • calibrated long products of steel grades 40 and 43 as per GOST 1050-88, ГОСТ 14955-77, TU 14.1-1760-91;
   • calibrated long products of steel 60С2Г as per GOST 14959-79, TU 14-178-448-2003;
   • assure increase influence efficiency of Quality Management System on industrial and economic activities of the Works (up to 5%).
2. Processes and production quality improvement purposes:
   • to provide production of high quality calibrated rolled metal in order to make profit not lower than in 2008 by reduction of production expenses, saving of energy resources, reengineering of technological processes.
3. Marketing purposes:
   • To increase proceeds from sale for 10% by effective marketing policy;
   • market monitoring (preparation of advertising materials, participation in exhibitions, design of the Works” website).
4. Personnel policy purposes:
   • improve manpower productivity by implementation of personnel policy comprehensive program and effective mechanisms of labor motivation (up to 10%).
